What is lalapalooza 1994?

Lollapalooza 1994 was the fifth edition of the annual music festival and tour. It featured headliners such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys, and George Clinton & the P-Funk All-Stars. Other notable performers included Green Day, A Tribe Called Quest, The Breeders, and L7. The festival drew over 350,000 attendees over the course of the tour, which traveled across North America from July 7 to August 28, 1994. This year also marked the last time that Lollapalooza would be a touring festival before becoming a stationary event in Chicago. The lineup and success of the 1994 festival is credited with helping to bring alternative rock and other non-mainstream genres into the mainstream.
